Granite · Chip and Crack Repair
Chips at granite sink cutouts and island corners usually come from a heavy pot or a stress point left at installation. We fill them with colour-matched epoxy, hone it flush, and polish it to match, so the repair doesn't stand out under kitchen lights and you don't need a new slab.
Quick diagnosis
A chip is a missing piece at the edge, with lighter stone showing underneath. A crack that runs through the slab needs a structural check before it can be filled.

Restore vs replace
One chipped edge doesn't mean a new counter. Filling and refinishing is the usual fix, including at the sink.
Repair path
We sort cosmetic chips from structural cracks, and from natural fissures (lines formed in the stone) that need no repair.
Acetone or a stone-safe cleaner removes oil and dust so the epoxy bonds.
Colour-matched epoxy, built slightly above the surface. Hairline cracks get a thin epoxy that soaks in.
We shave or grind the fill flush and blend it into the stone.
We match the gloss, then seal stone that absorbs liquid.
