Gloss measurement puts a number on how shiny a stone floor is, using a calibrated meter to ASTM D523 and ISO 2813. Repeat readings from the same marked spots show whether the finish is holding.

What we do
A gloss meter measures how much light the surface reflects. It can show wear before anyone notices it from the door, and settle whether a restoration reached the finish that was specified.
Timing: one visit for the baseline, with the report within a few days; repeat readings whenever you book them.
We take readings across each area and mark the spots.
We agree the finish level in writing, to suit the stone and how the space is used.
Later readings from the same spots are compared with the baseline.
You see which areas are holding and which are wearing, in time to act before a full restoration.
