Why this product
Soaks into the stone
Sinks into stone and grout to repel water and oil, giving you time to wipe spills before they stain.
Matched to your finish
Textured stone needs a different sealer from polished or honed stone. The wrong one can leave haze or patchy colour.
The last step
Sealing usually comes last, after cleaning, honing, or polishing.
In context
Made for the kinds of stone we restore every week across the GTA.

The sealer we recommend after polishing. It repels water and oil from inside the stone.

Protects bath and vanity tops after restoration. It leaves no film on top, so the stone still looks like stone.
Full description
The sealer we use after honing and polishing. It soaks into the stone and repels water and oil from inside, without the plastic-looking film that surface coatings leave.
314P Premium Silicone Sealer soaks into polished and honed marble, limestone, granite, and grout, and repels water and oil from inside. Coatings that sit on the surface can peel, yellow, or trap scratches. A sealer that soaks in leaves the stone looking and feeling like stone, which is why we use it at the end of restoration work in kitchens, bathrooms, and entries.
Sealer buys you time. On sealed stone, wine, coffee, or oil beads up instead of soaking in, so you have a few minutes to wipe it up. It doesn't make stone stain-proof, and lemon, vinegar, and tomato still etch marble on contact. After sealing, keep wiping up acids straight away, use R-311 on polished counters and MC 24 on floors, use cutting boards, and reseal on schedule.
Apply it only to stone that is clean, dry, and free of untreated stains. Sealing over a wine or oil mark locks it in for good, so poultice it first, rinse, let the stone dry at least 24 hours, then seal.
314P is made for polished and honed marble, limestone, and granite, the surfaces we see most in GTA kitchens and condo bathrooms. It isn't right for textured slate, flamed granite, or stone where you want richer colour. Use 355E Color Enhancing Sealer for those.
Reseal when water stops beading. On counters and in kitchens that's usually every one to two years; floors usually go two to four.

How to use
314P comes after cleaning and any repairs. It doesn't replace them. Before you open the bottle, the stone must be free of stains, fully dry, and cool enough to work on comfortably.
Deep clean first
Remove dirt, soap film, and old wax. Poultice any stains first, or the sealer locks them in.
Let it dry at least 24 hours
Moisture stops the sealer soaking in, especially in shower stone and freshly honed stone.
Apply, then wipe off the excess
Wet the stone without letting it puddle, then wipe off all surface residue within the time on the label.
Tip: Grout often takes more sealer than polished stone, so watch for haze on the tile faces.
Let it cure
Keep the surface dry for the full cure time. Check that water beads before you use the counter again.
Stone care system
We match cleaners, treatments, and sealers to your type of stone and its finish.
Restore
Have the stone professionally honed and polished, or deep clean it, before sealing.
Seal
314P soaks into polished and honed marble, limestone, and granite.
Maintain
MC 24 or R-311 keeps sealed stone clean without stripping the sealer.
