About this stone
Quartz counters are crushed quartz bound with resin, not natural stone. They don't etch, but they chip at the edges, scorch under hot pans, and haze from harsh cleaners. Many of these problems can be repaired in place.
The resin is the weak point for heat and chemicals. We repair quartz with colour-matched fills and refinishing methods made for resin, not the ones we use on marble.

Restore vs replace
Replacing quartz means templating, new sink cutouts, and plumbing work. If the slab is flat and stable, chips and most surface marks are repaired on site for much less.
